Seeing the fruit from
the distribution of the John/Romans literature.
PRAY:
For four new core families in 2009. That Northside Baptist
church can soon be self-supporting. Souls to be saved,
visitation power, safety and protection, prayer meeting
services, for salvation: Jim Melissa, Michael, and Robert.
Meeting place issues and for Carole and her family.

PRAISE:
Safety in their travels to and from Hong Kong; being able to
track down the source for some of the best Chinese literature I
have yet to come across. Baby # 2 is on the way.
PRAY:
For Jia, a young man who has been coming to church for over a
year, but is still unclear about many things; for Yu Kun, a lady
in a very difficult, marriage; and pray for Jiang’s parents to
be saved.

PRAY:
Travel safety;
Wisdom from above to develop Strategic Planning and a new
Constitution; The provision of a new General Director for EBI;
Increased strength for Gary as he recuperates from his surgery;
The Lord's enablement for Gary as he finishes a theological
course for our Hispanic undergraduate Bible schools; Good time
management and financial provision for our students in the
online program.

PRAISE:
For a young mother
baptized in December. For our daughter Rhoda’s recent salvation
decision. For the supply of the funds needed for Seth’s summer
internship.
PRAY:
Please continue to pray
for funds for Seth’s college bill next fall. For the remaining
$15,000 needed to purchase a church bus. Please pray for
nationals to “step in the gaps” that will be left in the
ministry when my brother and his family go on furlough in April.

A place to live and minister. That the students at CABC be well
equipped for the Lord’s service. Wisdom as we become parents.
That our child will be healthy and strong and grow up to love
and serve God wholeheartedly. That Kristie will feel better

school year. For Hostel parents to love on and care for a house

Twice a week two groups of teens meet for prayer.
PRAY:
For teenagers that they will stand against undesirable internet
activity, respect for authority, develop a hunger of
righteousness and a life of prayer. That Kay can reach the
parents of Amanda, Victoria, Wesley, Gabriel, and Marianna.

PRAISE:
James and Suzanne arrived safely in Australia with al of their
luggage. God is using the Bible studies that we send out – sent
359 in January.
PRAY:
For James and Suzanne as they adjust to life in Australia. For
finances for them to renovate a used travel trailer. For Sammy,
their oldest son, as he plans on doing missionary work in Israel
starting in May. For the rest of his financial needs to come
in.

PRAY: For Cecil Dunkley as he recovers from a stroke at the end of
December. Continue to pray for daughter Janet’s foot. For
Richey as he goes through maintenance chemotherapy.

PRAISE:
Making their home in
Kinshasa available for Dan & Christine Grings and safety in their
move to South Africa after Mark Grings’ passing. Also being
able to purchase a car in South Africa.
PRAY:
Esther’s medical needs as they monitor to thin her blood.
Esther’s mothers’ daily needs and help. Esther as she cares for
our family; her mom’s care and the homeschooling of the kids as
well as church ministries. Radio program; the needed funds for
the second half of 2009. In regards to my ‘green card’, I will
have to make a trip to the States Lord willing in May 2009.
Preparation work for the Bible school in Congo- looking at
starting the first year in 2010. Community Bible Church; wisdom
for Mike Neilson and I as we preach and teach and lead the
believers.

PRAISE: Salvation of several
children as they are memorizing versus.
PRAY: For the right teachers who will love these kids an be faithful
in sharing God’s Word with them for the Teen Boys’ SS, Wednesday
night Children’s class, and Bible Class while we are on
furlough. Pray for Nathaniel as he plans to start college this
fall. Safety as they travel back to the States.

PRAY: for Nameka, Lubabalo, Mzikayisa, and Dewald as they continue to
serve in the church. Sunday School is growing and are now in
need of more rooms for other classes. Keep praying for the
development of church leadership. Continue to pray for the
T.E.L.L. fellowship – this is a fellowship between preachers and
lay leaders in 3 churches of like faith.

PRAY: For Mr. Brubaker that he will get the victory over sin in his
life and that he will grow as a Christian – he just recently
accepted Christ as his Savior. For the Speas family that they
will continue to be faithful in attendance. That Joe will find
a good church in the new city that he has moved to.

PRAY: For the Aussies as they start to take over the leaderships in
the church. That the young people learn from God’s word and
become more mature in the spiritual growth and then reach out to
the unsaved in the community. Safety as I travel back to the
States in July for 6 months.

PRAY: For the Seoul Baptist bible College will begin their spring
semester in March. This school now allows students from other
cities and countries to take the courses. As decisions are
being made to develop a new Korean Bible translation to reflect
the original Greek, Hebrew or the KJV.
